Megan Fox’s Toi et Moi Engagement Ring

Megan Fox is an accomplished American actress and model, best known for her performances in blockbuster films and her striking beauty. As of January 2022, Megan’s engagement to Machine Gun Kelly set alight a new trend of engagement rings.

Her Engagement to Machine Gun Kelly and THE Ring 

Machine Gun Kelly designed Fox’s engagement ring with Stephen Webster and features both of their birthstones in an intricate and personal design. The ring has 18k white gold two interlocking pavé-set diamond thorn bands, with each band holding a pear-cut centre stone. One of the pears is a D-color antique-cut diamond and the other is an untreated Colombian emerald.

The Toi et Moi design, which means “you and me” in French, dates back to the Napoleonic era. The design features two stones representing the unity of two people in love. The concept behind Fox’s ring is that it can come apart to make two rings. The two rings are held together by a magnet buried within the gold forming a unique heart-shaped Toi et Moi design.

MGK wrote on Instagram: “I designed it with Stephen Webster to be two: the emerald (her birthstone) and the diamond (my birthstone) set on two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love.” He explains that the two rings are drawn together like two halves of the same soul.

Webster did not disclose the cost of the ring. However, jewellery experts estimate that the ring could be worth up to $500,000.

Overall, the engagement ring is a beautiful and unique Toi et Moi design, representing the love between Fox and MGK. The use of their birthstones and magnet-infused interlocking bands make it a meaningful, unique and innovative piece.
