Grading Fancy Colour Lab Diamonds

Lab grown fancy colour diamonds are graded using the same 4 Cs as natural diamonds: cut, clarity, colour, and carat weight. However, for fancy colour diamonds, the colour grade is the most important factor. While natural diamonds are graded from D to Z, fancy colour diamonds are graded on a colour scale from faint to fancy vivid, depending on the intensity of the hue.
