There were some stunning jewels completing red carpet looks at the 85th Academy Awards, the 2013 Oscars! Statement necklaces and strapless dresses in pale colours are on trend this year.

		Our favourite moment was Jennifer Lawrence’s dress complete with stunning drop earrings with a long necklace draped down her back elegantly finishing the romantic look.

Another statement necklace was Anne Hathaway’s decorative diamond necklace. The memorable jewels made way to the dress cross-back detailing, gathering in a bow at the bottom. Whilst more of a heavy piece, Anne complemented the eye catching jewellery with simple classic stud earrings.

These looks are both reminiscent of Nicole Kidman’s Chanel No. 5 advertisement in which her necklace hangs in a similar fashion.
