Are You The Next Miranda Kerr?

Modelling competitions have a strong pedigree in Australia: Megan Gale and Miranda Kerr both started their careers by winning one. And as of this week, there's one more search for aspiring models to enter: Moi Moi Fine Jewellery has announced a competition to find a new face for the brand.

As well as a year's contract with Chadwick Models, the winner of the title "Moi Moi Mademoiselle" will launch the new True Colours range - a collection of sterling silver pendants, cocktail rings and earrings featuring semi-precious stones accented with blue and white sapphires.

The newly-title Moi Moi Mademoiselle will also receive $7000 worth of gifts, including a two-night break at Bimbadgen winery in the Hunter Valley, a hair makeover courtesy of Maiolo Salon, a make Up Store cosmetic pack worth $300 and a HTC phone. There will be $2000 of Moi Moi jewellery for the winner too.

In addition, four runners-up will win their choice of piece from the True Colours collection, a $100 gift voucher to spend in Sydney's Queen Victoria Buildings shopping centre and an indulgent $90 high tea at QVB's The Tea Rooms.

Looks, personality and style will determine the winner, according to Alana Chang Weirick, Moi Moi's Managing Director. "The Moi Moi Mademoiselle will be a sophisticated and sassy lady," she says. "It's an incredible opportunity for all aspiring models out there to win a contract with one of the country's leading modelling agencies."

Entrants must be 16 to 25 years of age. In order to be eligible to enter they must upload five photos including full body and head shots, and they must be a minimum height of five foot seven inches. Entrants must also write in 25 words or less answer on why they should be this year's Moi Moi Mademoiselle.

Once the winner is announced, she will be immediately photographed for her first modelling assignment as the face of Moi Moi's marketing campaign. The photographs will also serve as a portfolio as Chadwick's newest model.

To enter, aspiring Megans and Mirandas should visit the Moi Moi website before 29 August. A Hollywood husband isn't part of the package, sadly, but even Kerr had to wait a few years before she found herself one of those.
