"We have been inundated with so many incredible entries for this competition," said Alana Chang Weirick, Managing Director of Moi Moi Fine Jewellery.

"The standard was extremely high and it was tough for us to whittle it down to just 12 finalists.

"We think the final 12 girls represent the image and personality we are looking for in our Moi Moi Mademoiselle. It's up to the public now to share their opinion and ensure their favourite entrant makes it to the next round."

"The calibre of entries for this search was higher than we anticipated," said Martin Walsh, Managing Director of Chadwick Models.

"We were so impressed. I'm looking forward to seeing the public's reaction and finding out who they want to see in the final."

The winner will be judged on their personality, look, modelling ability and potential, as well as their capability to represent Moi Moi Fine Jewellery and the True Colours Collection as this year's Mademoiselle.

Once the winner is announced, she will be immediately photographed for her first modelling assignment as the face of Moi Moi's marketing campaign. The photographs will also serve as a portfolio as Chadwick's newest model.

In addition to the priceless modelling contract, the winner will also secure an array of incredible prizes valued at over $7,000, while four runners up will take home over $1,000 in prizes.

The True Colours Collection is designed by the Moi Moi sisters, Lauren and Alana, and features semi-precious stones such as kunzite, smoky and lemon quartz, and amethyst, all accented with blue and white sapphires. The jewellery is set in sterling silver and comprises cocktail rings, matching pendants and earrings. Prices range from $400 to $1,200.
