GLEBE fashion design student and model Jazz Bre11, 21, is one of 12 finalists in the Moi Moi Mademoiselle 2011 competition. 

Now down to a public vote, the top five will be chosen later this month before an overall winner is picked. 

The winner will become the next face of Moi Moi and its new TrueColours Jewellery Collection a big break for a young model. 

"I'm excited about it and I hope it works out. It feels so long away though," Ms Bre11 said. 

"I do have a huge love for jewellery and the stuff on (Moi Moi's) website is amazing. Ms Bre11 is currently studying fashion design at UTS, with aspirations to find a place in the industry when she's finished. 

"I was a bit apprehensive because it's so competitive," she said. "So I'm doing marketing as a sub-major. It's a lot of work but 

Almost 90 young models entered the competition, and Ms Brell said she was stoked to be in the top 12. Aside from prizes, the overall winner will win a coveted 12-month modelling contract with Chadwick Models.

She lived in Saudi Arabia until she was 12 

She is currently in rehearsals for her role as a butterfly inBaz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby, which is in production
