The Moi Moi Story

It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the Moi Moi website.

We first discovered Moissanite in mid 2004. We were so overwhelmed by the brilliance of the jewel, it became clear to us we had to bring it to Australia.

Five months later, we opened our flagship store Moi Moi Fine Jewellery, in Sydney's prestigious Queen Victoria Building in December 2004.

The name Moi Moi has many meanings: the first is that Moi Moi includes the first three letters of Moissanite - our signature jewel; the second is in French meaning Me Me (jewellery for me); and on a personal level, in Cantonese it means little sister because when we were little, Lauren always called Alana 'Moi Moi'. After we opened the store we were pleased to learn that in Dutch it means "Beautiful Beautiful!"

Since we opened, our range has evolved to include other high quality created jewels made from the same natural mineral as their natural counterparts.
